If any of you attended the event Sunday night when Todd Bentley spoke at the Galen Center, none could deny was was some power and authority in the room.  The worship  brought us all into an atmostphere of praise and dance, and shortly after Todd Bentley was introduced he began to declare that God’s victory was over Los Angeles.  From then on, the crowd entered into intercession, the Lord began to bring down ruler and principalities over the city.  From an outsider’s perspective, it all could’ve looked like hype, yet in reality there was deep contending and battling in the spiritual realm.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12

Following after, Todd shared his story about how he grew up in the midst of drugs, alcohol the intensity of pain and brokenness in life.  His dad got him involved with drugs and biker gangs around the age of 11, while his mother remained deaf.  His involvement in the occult also made him aware of the spirit realm, and served up to 5 prison sentences before his mid teenage years.  His family never dreamed he would amount to anything, in fact it made him believe he wouldn’t live past 20 years of age. The only reason why I share the specifics for those who have not yet heard, is only to say that God can deliver anyone out of their situation no matter how horrible and hopeless.  To this day, I have never heard of a testimony with such extremes.  Once Todd heard the voice of God (audibly) telling him “sternly” it would be his last chance to turn around, once he accepted he felt the power of the Holy Spirit touch him.  Love, joy, peace, all this things he experienced for the very first time in his 18 years of life!

From then on, Todd completely gave himself to spending 4 – 8 hours a day in God’s presence and expecting to see the things that the Bible spoke about: demons coming out of people, healings, the power of God in it’s raw form!  Likewise his father who did drugs for 30+ years and was an alcoholic began working with Fresh Fire when Todd was a minister.  Though in complete denial of Jesus, his father ended up walking to one of Todd’s altar calls and getting completely delievered of his addicitons!! JESUS is the the ultimate deliverer!!!

WHO CAN DENY THE POWER OF GOD?  The mind can tell us these thing are not true, yet the LIVING TESTIMONY OF THE POWER OF HIS LOVE is evident through the lives of the saints!! GLORY TO HIM WHO WAS AND IS AND IS TO COME!!

The night continue with dozens coming to the altar for salvation, a time of deliverance of addictions, and lastly a time of calling out sicknesses and proclaiming healing!  Various testimonies from the time of healing are being shared.  A friend of mine had her leg grow out so that she no longer has any back troubles.  There was not time for public testimonies, however I am confident that many people got out of there healed!

My personal experience consisted mainly of receiving so much from the Lord.  I felt filled up with peace as well as a renewed confidence in His authority.  Contending for the city of Los Angeles, I had various visions of Him pouring things over Skid Row.  Much more happened that I believe is beyond my understanding.  One thing I am certain of is that the Fullness of His power has only begun to enter this city and He has much more to move through His people!!
