Prophecy about Sarah Palin and the Elections

Sarah Palin without a doubt is a real born again Christian who loves Jesus and in my Bible that is the number one qualification for a leader, though I also think that Sarah Palin the number two on the ticket with John McCain is much more qualified as a leader in executive experience than Obama the number one on the other ticket. I know we have been raised in a culture of fear and so many Christians would go crazy over such a statement but I do not have time to argue this. I will say that God raised up a poor uneducated prisoner to run the empire of Egypt, God raised up a smelly little shepherd boy to run Israel, God raised up a beauty queen Esther to help change her government and God has used and will always use those He chooses. If you have not seen the video clip with Sarah Palin speaking at her Church please do so, it takes the simple discernment of a Child to see that she truly loves Jesus:http://link.brightcove.com/services/player/bcpid1766638341

A few weeks ago we had a prophetic couple minister at our Church and their son Pastors a Church in Washington State and know Sarah Palin’s Pastor closely. Palin’s Pastor told him that for two whole weeks before Sarah Palin got announced as the VP she would go to the Church get the key to the prayer room to spend serious time in prayer (she might of as well gone to IHOP : ) . When I hear something like that that stirs my spirit with passion. If Sarah Palin prays we the Church must pray for her all the more. It’s also good to she is being mocked and persecuted for righteousness as Jesus said we should, because we will be rewarded in Heaven for that. There is extreme hate being released against her and her family from the very pit of hell. I have many pastoral friends from Africa and I really like what they have to say because they are not deceived by a political messiah one of them Anselm Madabuko said on these elections “If the whole world loves you then something definitely is wrong with you.” The liberals are going nuts over her being prayed for at Church in videos posted all over the internet even with such simple phrases as “pray for God’s will”. The liberal media has gone crazy over the fact her Church preaches about hell and heaven, deliverance to the homosexual from their perversion, that Jesus heals, that Jesus is coming back and the funniest of all that they believe in the 66 books of the Bible to be the literal and inspired Word of God.

I believe God is calling a lukewarm Church to wake up from her slumber through this woman. I am so happy that there are still a few ministers and prophets of the Lord who have not bowed their knee to Jezebel such as Lou Engle, Mike Bickle, Kimberly Daniels, Harry R. Jackson, Jr., Lee Grady, Rick Joyner, Steve Strang, Bob Jones and a few others who are speaking out against the spirit of deception and confusion in the Church.

In these elections we must never forget that God hates sin, God hates evil. Got hates abortion, God hates sexual perversion, God hates divorce but God loves sinners. So love the sinner and pray for the sinners to get saved but never stop hating the sin. Many Christians have called for a change in our issues, that their are more important issues out there then the holocaust murder of children and destruction of marriage.

No we cannot and we never will Change in the Name of Jesus Christ!
We will never say abortion/murder of innocent children is ok!
We will never say homosexual perversion is ok!
We will never say the the destruction of family and marriage is ok.
Change we cannot dare to have!

New Testament = Romans 12: 9 “Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.” = NT Sincere Christian love means to hate wickedness.

Old Testament = Proverbs 8:13 “To fear the LORD is to hate evil”

I hope you get the point because I could go on with many more Scriptures that sweet Jesus who is KING has said all throughout the Bible. Now I pray that Obama gets saved truly in a real Church that is not a unitarian cult which preaches a false gospel that there is no hell and all religions lead to salvation and that homosexual marriage is ok, just to name a few perversions of Scripture. If Obama does not repent and get saved and turn from his wicked ways he will go to hell forever that’s Christianity 101. I do not hate Obama but I do hate evil as God tells me so in His word. So I do hate the wickedly evil philosophies of abortion and perversion of family and marriage that Obama preaches. So in the name of Jesus Christ I hate the murder of innocent children and destruction of marriage and I am not afraid to say so. The reason I am emphasizing such a simple point on hell and salvation and hatred of sin is that many Christians out there think that Obama is a true born again believer and that makes me mad, that there is such strong deception out there in the Church. Even if Obama went to an nice Evangelical Church but supported abortion and homosexual marriage I could tell you for sure anyone who does so does not know the Lord. By the way even McCain who sometimes attends a good old Baptist Church and has voted 100 percent pro-life is in need of Jesus just as much as Obama. So pray for John McCain and Barak Obama to truly get saved.

I gotta say that I believe God is giving the Church a chance in America to rise up and establish justice and righteousness in this Nation once again. I pray that we get the President God wants and not the one that we deserve. We have had a President who has prayed in the White House daily and God has used him to install two conservative supreme court judges who have banned partial birth abortion and made the gates of hell and liberal elite shudder. I do not have much time to comment on the articles below that I believe will impact you powerfully (Also read the prophesies). But I gotta say that I do love Lou Engle it makes so happy that there are radical, faithful, zealous, anointed, holy, and strong Christians out there in America (Those of you who know him personally tell him I am praying to meet him soon :) . For the longest time I thought we were the only ones who were crying out, fasting, praying and preaching the word. It is such a joy to see Christians that are not in bed with Jezebel and all the filth the our culture spews out.

Ok below is a powerful short word by Lou Engle on Sarah Palin, then there are two short words by Rick Joyner on her, I also posted two articles from Steve Strang on the elections and one article by Lee Grady and one artilce by Harry R. Jackson, Jr., and then there is several prophetic words that I hope apply to these elections. A few words from Dutch Sheets and a few from Kim Clement a video clip from Julie Meyer and also a few words from Bob Jones who I pray I will meet tomorrow at a conference in Wisconsin http://valleyharvestchurch.org/ . One more thing that I strongly want to say is that these elections will not be won by politics but by prayer so make sure you are really praying (and for the religious people out there yes I know Jesus is the Savior not man or politics but He never does anything on earth without man that’s why he became a man). I have never been good at praying for politicians because I usually pray for Revival but now I know Sarah Palins whole family by name, whats sad/funny is I don’t even know President Bush’s daughters names but I am learning =). There are several prophetic words written below that I encourage you to pray over and believe God to do awesome things in the life of this modern day Esther. God bless you all with Holy Fire, Enjoy!!!

A Word About Sarah Palin
October 14, 2008

45 years ago, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. subpoenaed the conscience of America and drove the injustice of segregation like a wedge into the soul of the nation. The wedge has been driven again. When Senator John McCain courageously chose Governor Sarah Palin as his Vice Presidential running mate, he drove family values back into the conscience of America.

The liberal media played into the hands of a Higher Wisdom when they injected former Vice President Dan Quayle into the debate by comparing Governor Palin to Dan Quayle. Now, everyone is beginning to realize that this election is not about a man’s charisma or his nebulous notion of change. No. This election is a battle for family values and to the victor goes the soul of this nation.

Governor Palin is more than just a brilliant choice for Vice President. She and her family stand as a sign and a wonder for life and for children. They are a living parable parading in blazing Technicolor before the eyes of the whole nation. This goes way beyond elections. This is about us healing our families, regaining moral responsibility, and exhibiting forgiveness.

Palin boldly stood by her conviction that all life is sacred and chose to have her Down Syndrome child while leading her state. Senator Barack Obama, on the other hand, declared that the first thing he will do as President is pass the Freedom of Choice Act, which will remove every restriction from all abortion procedures, including many restrictions that most Americans agree with, By doing this, he will open up the doors to promote deviant sex education to kindergarteners and exclude even parents from their right to know of their underage daughter’s potential abortion.

When the pregnancy of her 17-year-old daughter became an insensitive liberal media circus, we were given a rare view into love and support as Governor Palin embraced her grandchild in her daughter’s womb as a blessing. Again, on the other hand, Obama was once quoted as saying that if his two daughters made a “mistake” and became pregnant, he would not want them to be “punished” with babies. What a stark contrast of the value of human life!

The ideological beast of Obama’s worldview has been drawn out of its lair and now stands naked and exposed by Palin’s compassion and conviction. The beast is not just Quayle hunting. It is hunting our children, our nation’s destiny, and us. The rage of the media against Palin simply further exposes the moral bankruptcy, bigotry, and lack of compassion of liberalism. The media, Obama’s court prophets, have become Selma’s new sheriffs of the South beating the new heirs of the civil rights movement – the millions of unborn children attacked in the womb and countless women hurt by abortion – with their journalistic Billy Clubs and loud hectoring.

With his choice of Governor Palin as his running mate, John McCain has once again gone to war. However, this time, not in the distant lands of Vietnam and Iraq, but he has gone to war for America, for our families, and for our children. And this war, we cannot afford to lose.

Prophecy for Sarah Palin
October 2, 2008

Strang Report
by Steve Strang

If you’re like me, you’ll be glued to the television tonight to watch the first vice- presidential debate, which is being held at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. The 90-minute debate between Gov. Sarah Palin and Sen. Joe Biden will begin at 9 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on all major television networks.

I’ve publicly endorsed Sen. John McCain and Sarah Palin, so you know for whom I will be rooting. I’ve reported in the Strang Report how unfair the media has been to Gov. Palin, even ridiculing her Pentecostal background. Now we’ve learned that tonight’s moderator, Gwen Ifill of PBS, has written a pro-Obama book. So much for objectivity.

This is a call to pray for Sarah Palin. Read the incredible prophecy quoted below that is going around the Internet. At the end I tell about attending a huge Palin rally in Florida 10 days ago. Below, read about an important new book we just published by Perry Stone.

Pastor Mark Arnold in Lebanon, Ohio, wrote this true account. He first sent it out to a small handful of friends and relatives, never dreaming that, thanks to e-mail, it would travel around the world. As of today, he’s heard back from 50 states, 36 nations, and several major Christian ministries and news networks, and he has received more than 11,800 e-mails.

When Arnold was asked what he felt the value was in letting this story go public, he said he is seeing people moved and coming out of the “caves” they’ve been in, coming alive and realizing that they need to get involved in the affairs of the nation and not sleep through this season as the church did when believers allowed prayer to be removed from schools.

Pastor Mark Arnold of Lebanon, Ohio, writes:

On Sept. 9, the McCain/Palin bus came through a little town called Lebanon, Ohio. The Lord allowed me to go to the rally [to give McCain and Palin] a message that He wanted me to personally deliver.

Sunday Night: A burden hit me that would only shake me to my knees–I prayed and wept for our nation. Never has my heart been so broken before God. I literally interceded for these wonderful people who do not deserve all the hate against them. The God-haters are going to try everything to stop them, but they will not succeed!

God is not pleased with the “bashing” in the news of this “anointed” person [Sarah Palin]. He has called her for this time! I promised God that I would pray and hold them up in prayer. I would “listen” out and be mindful of where they were. The following day is important in this time line … because I didn’t even know until God spoke to me.

Monday and into Monday night: The burden of prayer was so heavy that I was literally shaking and could not stop weeping. I didn’t know that they were coming to Ohio. I prayed and walked and wept and walked. I prayed and prayed and wept and prayed.

Tuesday at 2:00 a.m.: God spoke these words to me: “Go turn the radio on!” Immediately the reporter’s words were, “McCain & Palin bus to be in Lebanon later this morning for a 10:00 a.m. rally!”

Immediately on hearing that news, I heard God again. God said, “You are to go. You will meet them and give them a message for Me!”

I prayed as an intercessor and went to a place in prayer that I don’t think I’ve ever been … because the Lord had just visited me … and I knew I was on a “mission.” I had now been up since Sunday night … and now it’s Tuesday and I’ve got to go on the “Word of the Lord.” He sure became my strength as this unfolds.

I didn’t stop praying until I drove over to the town and parked the car. The news would later report they were expecting 5,000 people, [but] the actual head-count of those who had been scanned was more than 10,000 people.

I simply obeyed … and God actually told me where to stand, who to talk to … and when to be on the move. I had sure learned on the mission field, when God wants to open a door, He will do it at the appropriate time. He always has someone to assist … and even those standing beside you may just be an angel.

I struck up a conversation with an agent on the ground. He simply said, “I can’t allow you to stand here!” Here is where the bus was going to actually pull up to. They had to make a much larger perimeter, so the entire area was now being moved back several blocks. The only other thing he told me to do was to go through the metal detector zone and just watch from the back. So, that’s what I did.

Due to [the] sensitivity of the Internet, I can’t share much of the story. As to what happened next, [it] was a definite God thing all the way.

Looking over the shoulders and backs and heads of all those people … I knew it would take a miracle for what God told me to do.

As I was standing there, two Boy Scouts came running up my back. Literally, they almost knocked me to the ground because they were running so fast behind me, up my back and over to the right. These Boy Scouts were about Junior High age. Their Scout Leader and several others were behind them, but as the two out front [were] trying to push through the crowd, saying they were late, the smaller scouts were left in their dust. The Scout Leader, who was with a McCain rep. from the State, grabbed me and told me [to] bring the other Scouts up front as they try to keep up with the first two that just came through.

I just became the leader of the rest of the Scouts to lead them right up front and center. As the rep. was shouting back at me to bring the Scouts forward, the people parted just like God parted the Red Sea.

I marched those boys right up front and to the right of the stage as one was looking from the back. When I got there I was fifteen feet from the podium. God said, “Stand here, and don’t move from this spot.”

Within five minutes the bus pulled up, and around the other side McCain, Sarah Palin and her husband, Todd, stepped up and the speeches took off. I was where God placed me … and even Sarah Palin and Todd were standing on my side of the stage. I made eye contact, I gave them thumbs-up gestures … and I knew they were just happy to see me standing there. Ha ha.

When they came around the podium and started on the other side, I knew they were coming right toward me. A little lady who stood by me, reached up and told the rep. that they had promised a picture with her because she was the one who had lost a son in Iraq recently. The rep. confirmed she would get a pic with them and they would talk to her.

When McCain came to hug her … he immediately shook my hand and following his moment with her, I shook his hand as he grabbed my hand, now for the second time, and I said, “God wants you to know that I’m praying for you, Sir!” He thanked me and kept smiling. I repeated that phrase to him five times. He grabbed my hands and looked right into my eyes and said, “I won’t make it without prayer. Sir, thank you for praying for me, and don’t let one day go by that you don’t pray for me. I need all the prayers that I can get. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

As he moved to my right, Sarah Palin came over to my left side … standing over the crowd and then looking at the little lady who had lost the son. It took a moment for her to shake some hands and people were pushing in all around. Sarah came and got on her hands and knees on that side of the stage and hugged that little mom, telling her, “It was not in vain.” She promised her support.

It was at this moment Sarah Palin reached out for me to help her up, and as I was assisting her to stand, I was now face-to-face with her, and God said, “Open up your mouth and I will fill it.”

Here is what came out:

“God wants you to know that you are a present-day Esther!”

[She immediately began to cry!]

“God wants to tell you that you are chosen for such a time as this!”

“You are called, and chosen to be a leader.”

“Don’t lose heart and don’t fear man.”

“The news and naysayers and criticizers are going to be very hateful toward you … and in the days ahead they are going to turn up the heat … but do not fear.”

“You are a present-day Esther.” You are an Esther. You are an Esther!

“Keep your eyes on God and know that He has chosen you to reign!”

“Stay strong … be strong … don’t tire. Don’t be weary in well-doing. Be strong.”

Her husband, Todd, came over, and I told him what I told her. He began to cry.

I emphasized the fact that he was to guard her at this time … and know that “she is God-called and God-anointed.”

“This is a God-thing and your wife is a present-day Esther … she is for God to use at this time … she is an Esther … she is an Esther … she is an Esther.”

“You will be hated … but stand strong … God has called both of you to stand!”

“We are praying and I am praying for you!”

At this moment, McCain came right to where I was finishing talking to Todd, and I told Mr. McCain exactly what I told to Sarah and Todd Palin.

“Mr. McCain … they are called of God and she is an Esther.”

“Don’t lose hope and don’t lose heart.”

“We are praying for all of you!”

He shook my hand and with a deep look of understanding what I had just said, he said, “Thank you for your prayers and support … I really do mean that!”

And he turned and shook more hands … and I watched them as they went through the crowd.

When I got to my car I sat there for quite a long time … knowing the God of the universe had just used me to deliver a message confirming to Sarah and Todd to realize they are truly chosen vessels of God.

I wept. I have not stopped praying and crying. My heart is full knowing they had to have all the staging and all the hype and all the crowd … but the God of heaven and earth … wanted to give them a divine God-appointment!

To God be all the glory and honor.

If anyone wants to know if I believe God can speak. Yes … absolutely, is my answer!

Be praying for me … and let me know what you think about all of this.

My own experience of hearing Gov. Palin speak at The Villages about 80 miles north of my home near Orlando on Sept. 21 was not nearly as dramatic. It was a hot Sunday afternoon, and we went two hours early and waited in the heat for Palin to come. Estimates of the crowd range from 30,000 to 60,000. It was impossible to know for certain how many were there because it was in a “town center” area, and people were up and down the streets in all directions.

I was able to get near only a large-screen TV, not the stage, and my wife and I settled down in our portable chairs to watch. The crowd was so thick you couldn’t move around to look for a better place. From our vantage point you couldn’t even see the stage, and we never saw Sarah Palin or her family except on the large screen. But it was interesting to see the level of excitement for her candidacy.

Now it will be interesting to see how the debate goes tonight. Be sure to add your thoughts in the blog below.

The Army of God Mobilizes, Part 38

Since the theme for the Word for the Week is mobilizing, and we have many current examples of how this works, I would like to examine one in particular because of its obvious and powerful lessons—that is how the Republican Party mobilized when Governor Sarah Palin was chosen as John McCain’s running mate. This may be an unprecedented example of what we are seeking to understand here so we would be missing a great opportunity not to examine it.

This is not about politics, but mobilization. In my lifetime, I cannot remember another person coming from such obscurity to such visibility and influence in such a short period of time. Several times I have purposely scrolled through every news channel, and Governor Palin’s face was on them all—conservative, liberal, and those who at least claimed to be neutral. The coverage ranged from extremely positive to extremely negative, but it seemed that everyone could not help but to talk about her.

Many were wowed by John McCain’s brilliance at announcing Governor Palin as his running mate the morning after the unprecedented euphoria that the Democratic Party seemed to be feeling after their convention. This may have been brilliant timing, but that does not account for this unprecedented impact from a person who has seemed to suck the oxygen out of any other news. Think about it. When Geraldine Ferraro was chosen, the first woman ever to be on a major party ticket for one of the two highest offices in the world, there was not even a fraction of the stir created by Governor Palin. This is what we discussed before about having an anointing for leadership.

Nothing in the natural could explain the reactions for and against her. It’s not natural. Usually a pick for the Vice President has a little impact and then it is over in a day or two. Not so here. McCain was hardly noticed anymore, which interestingly he did not seem to mind but actually enjoyed it. Palin’s announcement excited and mobilized the Republican Party, possibly like nothing else has so fast. Immediately, crowds were eclipsing those of any of the other candidates. This is an anointing for leadership.

Palin has also excited opposition. It quickly went from what seemed to be a knee-jerk reaction to the news, to a very mean-spirited and deeply disrespectful tone. Feminists were actually using “the glass ceiling” to try to beat Governor Palin down. The accusations against her were so bizarre for a time that those making them were immediately humiliated and embarrassed as an increasingly discerning public reacted to the hypocrisy. The more the media tried to demean her, the more the public rose up and smote them back. This was very interesting to say the least.

This is not to imply that the questions being asked about Governor Palin’s qualifications to sit “a heartbeat away” from what is considered the most powerful position on the planet are not legitimate. Many in both parties did question this, but did it with respect and appeared to do it objectively, which should be appreciated. The qualification to sit in such authority is what the campaigns are designed to establish or reveal.

However, there is a difference between legitimate and respectful questioning of such important issues and attacking with evil motives by using deception and lies. The rage that also rose up against Governor Palin is the result of her anointing. We need to consider this when we are desperate for others to recognize us and our calling—if the true can recognize us, so can the devil. If our unveiling has not happened yet, we are not ready for it.

I do feel that Governor Palin has a calling to leadership that I recognized immediately when I first saw her speak. This does not necessarily mean that the McCain ticket is going to win this fall or that everyone who disagrees with her or challenges her is from the devil. However, there was a considerable amount of opposition that rose up that did cross the line and was easily recognizable as being beyond mere human disagreement. Some of the same has come against Senator Obama and the accusations leveled against him that are not true. He, too, has a remarkable anointing to mobilize people, and that will always cause a corresponding opposition.

As we have discussed previously, the anointing to mobilize can be used for good or evil. The leaders of both the North and South in the American Civil War had a remarkable anointing for mobilizing multitudes for their causes. So have leaders on both sides in most wars, and yet one side can be far more righteous in their cause. The greater the anointing to mobilize, the more who will follow us, and the more that can lead to do good or evil. Therefore, if the time comes when others start to mobilize to us, we must be even more careful of where we are leading them.

The ultimate Leader is Jesus. When He is lifted up all men will be drawn to Him. Therefore, the greatest anointing for drawing men will come by those who are manifesting Him more. To manifest Him more, we must keep our attention on Him and not those following us.

There is a place for being aware of those the Lord has given us to watch over and to lead in His name for the sake of being responsible. I was shown a vision many years ago that I feel says it clearly. In this vision, I saw a pastor who would look at the Lord, and people started gathering to him. Whenever he turned from the Lord to look at the people, they would start scattering from him.

Again, there is a place for knowing those we have been given to watch over and to be responsible for, but there is also a curse that came upon Israel when David “numbered the people.” If we are receiving our security from how people feel about us or how many are following us rather than from the Lord’s approval, we are in danger of leading them astray. The more people begin to follow us, the more we must keep our eyes on the Leader and resolve to get ever closer to Him.

Sarah Palin and the Deborah Anointing

After 49 million abortions since 1973, America needs a bold, Holy Ghost-filled woman to model pro-life values in the White House.

Just one week before the Republican Convention was scheduled to kick off in Minnesota, most evangelical Christians I know were (1) half-heartedly supporting John McCain; (2) flirting with the idea of voting for Barack Obama even though they disagreed with his policies; or (3) considering not voting at all. But the political mood shifted abruptly on Sept. 3, as if something from the mountains of Alaska sent seismic shockwaves across the nation. The earthquake hit when a little-known female governor appeared on the national stage with a baby in one arm and four more of her kids sitting in the audience.

Gov. Sarah Palin, who has kept an infant swing in her office in Juneau since April, has changed everything about the 2008 presidential race. Nobody—including McCain, no doubt—had any idea how much Palin’s candidacy would electrify the nation.

Evangelicals and other social conservatives were so ecstatic about “Sarah Barracuda” that the left-leaning media began a mad dash to discredit her. Animal rights activists complained about her bear rugs and her father’s fondness for moose hunting. Hypocritical feminists questioned whether Palin has time to run a country with all those kids. (So they think only liberal women can govern?) Democratic pundits claimed she lacks foreign policy experience. (If McCain had selected globetrotting Condoleezza Rice for the job, would the Democrats have approved? I don’t think so.)
“Palin and her family, even with their flaws, are the embodiment of the compassionate pro-life values America desperately needs to adopt.”

Palin’s enemies will poke around for the next two months to find her weak spots, but I have a feeling the tough-talking hockey mom from Wasilla will hold up just fine under scrutiny. They are underestimating this woman’s Christian faith, which has shaped her anti-corruption policies, her pro-life convictions and her refreshingly humble servant-leadership style.

There’s a lot to like about Palin—including the fact that she has been a courageous whistle-blower in Alaskan politics and that she has creative ideas about energy policy. But what excites me most is the fact that she is a working mom with solid Christian values. We are way overdue for a conservative mother’s touch in the White House.

Our country has been in a protracted debate over abortion since the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision. Republicans and Democrats in Congress have argued for decades about whether it’s OK to kill a baby in the third trimester or whether parents should have any say-so in a minor’s decision to abort a child. While the good ol’ boys ran Washington, more than 49 million babies were killed in 36 years.

Some women politicians got themselves elected to powerful positions in Washington a few years ago. Unfortunately, many of them sold out to the establishment before they got there. These women failed us. They traded their birthright at the altar of liberal feminism and betrayed the essence of motherhood.

Thankfully Palin doesn’t have all the years of experience her critics say she needs on her resume. If she had breathed the noxious air in Washington for 15 years, she might have compromised her values too. As it stands, we have a woman with backbone who can stand up to the death lobby.

We need Palin’s perspective. Here’s a woman who didn’t sacrifice her family for her career and who didn’t abort her fifth child, Trig, when she found out he had Down’s syndrome. Here’s a woman who told the audience at the Republican Convention last week that Trig is “perfect”—and pledged to be an advocate for parents of special needs children. Here’s a woman who, when confronted with her 17-year-old daughter’s out-of-wedlock pregnancy, gracefully encouraged her to keep the baby and marry the father.

Talk about a role model. Palin’s life is a prophecy to America. She doesn’t have to preach against abortion. She and her family, even with their flaws, are the embodiment of the compassionate pro-life values America desperately needs to adopt.

When McCain announced that he had chosen Palin as his running mate, I was reminded of the biblical story of Deborah, the Old Testament prophet who rallied God’s people to victory at a time when ancient Israel was being terrorized by foreign invaders. Deborah’s gender didn’t stop her from amassing an army; she inspired the people in a way no man could. She and her defense minister, Barak, headed to the front lines and watched God do a miracle on the battlefield.

In her song in Judges 5:7, Deborah declares: “The peasantry ceased, they ceased in Israel, until I, Deborah, arose, until I arose, a mother in Israel” (NASB).

Sometimes it takes a true mother to rally the troops. I hope that Palin, a woman who believes in prayer and is filled with the Holy Ghost, will take her hockey stick and smash the glass ceiling in American politics once and for all.

Faith Wars – Palin vs. the Media
By Harry R. Jackson, Jr.
Post Your Coments
September 22, 2008

This week, the presidential campaign will cross the 40-day mark. It is closer than anyone would have imagined. Every vote will count. The question on many minds will be: how does one campaign lock up the race and seize the presidency? From the very beginning, the election has been the Democrats’ to lose

I have been shocked during the last two weeks at the outrageous attempts that the media has made to paint Sara Palin’s faith as extreme. CNN ran a series of special reports in which they interviewed members of Sara Palin’s former church in Wassila, Alaska. They even directly queried members of her former congregation, in which she spent nearly two decades, about the practice of speaking in tongues. In addition, reporters attempted to make her current church sound cult-like. Next Pat Oliphant, political cartoonist of the Washington Post, made fun of both God and Sarah Palin on September 9. He featured a God that cursed about right wing people and a Governor Palin speaking in gibberish that even God did not recognize as speaking in tongues.

Finally, to pour salt into an open wound, there has been an endless barrage of media attacks, yellow journalism for over 10 days. Just last week I was surprised to hear talk show hosts describe “Pentecostalism” as “evangelicalism on steroids – much more dangerous than the normal evangelicals”.

As a result of all of this, Governor Palin’s approval rating has swung south by a remarkable 21 points. She has been fired on from all angles but she has not fired back – defending her faith and values in an aggressive enough manner. Part of the problem is that the McCain campaign has not been able to build on the momentum from her initial debut with the audience that will have the most affinity with her – the conservative and evangelical communities.

It’s crunch time and seeing an excited base actually showing up to vote is the McCain/Palin ticket’s primary hope. The McCain campaign missed an opportunity last weekend to be a part of the Values Voters Summit in Washington, DC, which attracted the grassroots activists of the evangelical movement. These are the foot soldiers that Karl Rove was able to engage in 2004. This army, largely self-directed, literally carried Bush over the threshold in his race. I am convinced that they can do it again if they believe in the candidates.

Surprisingly, the relentless Obama campaign is not giving up on attempting to steal a few percentage points of the highly treasured, evangelical vote. Over two years ago, the Democratic Party in general and Senator Obama in particular, decided that it would make the faith voters an important demographic target. Since that decision candidates have come and gone, several forums on faith have occurred, and the nation has heard sermons from a variety of pulpits that they would never have heard of under normal circumstances.

Announcing an unexpected strategic initiative, officials from the Barack Obama campaign told David Brody of the Christian Broadcasting Network that they are about to conduct a faith tour in “key battleground states.” The Obama team will call the tour: “Barack Obama: Faith Family and Values Tour.” During this tour, a major theme will be – “Voting All Our Values.” The team will consist of Catholic scholar Doug Kmiec and former Indiana Congressman Tim Roemer. They also expect a number of evangelical Democrats to join them on the road.

The Obama team has declared war and will be traveling to “red” states and swing states. The tour should last about 1 month.

How should the McCain camp respond? They should protect their foundations and build on the enthusiasm of the conservative and evangelical base. They should conduct regional rallies, town hall meetings, and tap into the evangelical network of church leaders who faithfully supported Mike Huckabee’s campaign. Local churches can be the ultimate grassroots organization if values are truly put first instead of party doctrines and ideology. The Republican brand is not selling well this year. McCain still has the maverick label to wear. Currently cast by liberals as a liar, he must rebuild momentum in the communities that still see him as a hero.

McCain has gone as far as he can with negative ads and an attack-dog mentality aimed at exposing the weakness of the Obama/Biden ticket. He must now do what Obama did in the beginning. He and Sarah Palin must speak vision, vision, and vision. They must major in hope, based on substance. They have to articulate their own out-of-the-box solutions to the problems of the day. They must find allies who will help them nail down the white Catholic vote, which Obama believes he can win. Further, they must reach conservative black and Hispanic ministers who are resonating with the faith journey of Sarah Palin behind the scenes. They identify with her boldness and courage and are willing to give McCain a hearing.

McCain and company must meet the Obama campaign on the field of battle in states like Colorado, Indiana, North Carolina, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Missouri, Florida, New Mexico, Virginia and Wisconsin. Sarah Palin needs to be strategically deployed as the faith community’s interpreter of a new “McCain Doctrine” of governance. Her convention bounce is over and her detractors are starting to sound over confident again. Now is the time for Palin to get on the faith circuit and “work it.”

We Endorse John McCain

It will surprise no one that Charisma is endorsing John McCain for president of the United States. The actual endorsement will appear in our October issue, in the mail on Sept. 15. You are getting an advance copy here.
But what may surprise you is why we chose him over the other candidate.

We understand why some like Barack Obama. He is young and personable, and his call for change is something that resonates with many Americans. He has reached out to the evangelical community as has no other Democrat since Jimmy Carter. And he is clear when he articulates his Christian faith, even though he has stated publicly that
Christianity is not the only road to heaven.

We applaud the fact that Obama is the first African-American to be nominated by a major party. We believe it’s time America elected a person of color as president.
But otherwise we can’t support him. One reason is his lack of experience. He does not have one major accomplishment to his name in his life as a public servant. Another reason is his view on the sanctity of life. Even though he told me in a meeting with Christian leaders in June that he does not believe in abortion, he says the first thing he’ll do as president is pass the Freedom of Choice Act, a law which would annihilate every state law limiting or regulating abortion, including the federal ban on partial birth abortion.

This nation is greatly divided on the issue of abortion. But most evangelicals agree that abortion is wrong. I believe this issue alone will cause many Americans who would otherwise vote for a likeable candidate such as Obama to vote against him.
The third reason we cannot support Obama is his sympathy toward those who are attempting to legitimize homosexuality. Since the beginning of recorded history, marriage has been defined as a union between one man and one woman, an institution designed by God for the primary purpose of bringing children into the world and raising them in a family. But radicals in our country now want to change the definition to include unions between two people of the same sex.

Many of them are also pushing for the passage of legislation that would give homosexuals special legal rights and that would protect them from “hate speech,” loosely defined as language that criticizes them in any way, even if it is based on biblical beliefs. We must not elect a leader who will support this legislation or aid the homosexual agenda in any way—because if same-sex marriage is ever legalized or protected on a national level, there will be no turning back.
But the argument against Obama and for McCain goes beyond their levels of experience and their stands on abortion and homosexuality. There is a basic difference in their philosophies of government. McCain is for limited government, and Obama sees government as the solution to all major problems in society.

As Marc Nuttle says in his book Moment of Truth, the Democrats would take us down a dark path toward big government. Such a government would limit our freedoms and increase oppressive control. Picture France and Germany—and then contrast this image with that of the America McCain would lead. Below, I give you an opportunity to get a copy of this important book. Click Here

In an interview with Rick Warren at Saddleback Church in August, McCain and Obama gave answers that were polar opposites. When asked about evil, Obama mentioned Darfur and child abuse—both standard liberal answers. But McCain didn’t hedge about evil in the world. He said he’d stop at nothing to get Osama bin Laden. He wants to bring our troops home from Iraq, but only “in victory and with honor,” while Obama has said he’d be willing to negotiate with terrorist governments such as Iran. View Interview Here

McCain would allow offshore drilling to solve the dependence on Middle Eastern oil. Obama would oppose it. And they would each support very different candidates for the Supreme Court.
In the Saddleback interview, McCain was strong, decisive and honest about himself in a way that caught everyone by surprise. (If you missed the interview, you can click here to watch it.)

McCain is a true American hero who has served this country well in Congress for nearly 25 years. He has a history of bipartisanship, yet he is definitely his own man—something that comes through in his interview with me that will also appear in the October issue of Charisma.
Now there is an extra reason to vote for John McCain—his choice of Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska as his running mate. I applaud him for this wise choice. As you probably know, Palin’s record as a strong conservative on issues such as anti-abortion, pro-family and a supporter of gun rights have rallied the Republican Party’s conservative base and at the same time sent the liberal left into a frenzy. Later I’ll write about Gov. Palin, but first I want a chance to interview her personally and to research her background.

Interestingly for a magazine that has served the Pentecostal/charismatic community for more than three decades, Sarah Palin has an Assemblies of God background. That’s not reason alone to vote for her—just as John McCain’s record as a war hero alone doesn’t make him qualified to be president. But it does tell me something about her values and belief system. I’ll opine more about this later.
To me, the choice is clear: Obama’s presidency would be a disaster in many ways; McCain’s would move our country in the right direction. We urge you to encourage everyone you know to back John McCain and vote for him on November 4.

The Army of God Mobilizes, Part 39

Last week we discussed the extraordinary anointing to mobilize that manifested so quickly on Governor Sarah Palin. Instantly it seemed that she went from being the obscure Governor of Alaska to one of the most interesting people in the world. The interest in her was not all favorable of course, but she immediately began to rally crowds larger than the other candidates, a very rare thing for a Vice Presidential nominee. She also overwhelmed the others in the news coverage as well. This week I want to look a little bit deeper into how this happened, and why, not from a political perspective, but rather to understand this anointing to mobilize others.

The moment I heard Governor Palin speak when she was being introduced as John McCain’s running mate I was impacted by her anointing for leadership. I felt strongly that I was listening to a President, and I do feel that she may be a future President. She had a notable focus and resolve, but it was more than that. It was not so much what she said, but her words had something behind them that gave them more power. This is an anointing.

Last year, I was given a dream in which I was told that if we would honor the fathers, the Lord would release revival in America in six months. I was told that we had to do this because it was through dishonoring fathers that had one of the biggest gates of hell into the country. I was also told that we would then have to honor the mothers because it was by dishonoring mothers and motherhood that the gate of hell had been opened that released abortion into the nation. We determined that one way we could start to honor the fathers was to hold a conference on honoring the fathers. It had such remarkable favor on it that many thought it was the most important conference we had ever hosted. Immediately after it, the Lakeland Outpouring erupted. Immediately after that, we had an outbreak of the Holy Spirit in our K-12 school that swept through the whole ministry and continues to this day. Miracles and healings that we used to see or hear about once a year are now happening weekly, if not nightly.

Sarah Palin is a hero mother, and I think she is anointed to help recover the honor that motherhood is due. Could she sit in the most powerful office in the world while still raising a young family? Yes, I think she can, and she maybe also do it better because of her family. Without question, as the Vice President, her family will have more help than they would if she was not, but it is about more than that. There is something about being moored to the practical when you are in a high position of authority that grounds you with a perspective and wisdom that otherwise gets lost very easily. That is why I think the great Apostle Paul was required to make tents for a living while serving as maybe the greatest missionary of all time. This was not a waste of his time. That time kept him in touch with the practical and with people in a way that was essential for his calling. Certainly, sitting in one of the most powerful offices in the world will be demanding, but staying grounded can be a huge advantage.

Another advantage for having a family, while being in such a powerful and demanding job, is the energy and inspiration that comes from having a family, which is greater than any other resource. After our relationship to God, nothing inspires and energizes like the love of a family. A family, with all of its problems, is not a distraction but fuel for the heart. We were made this way. That’s why the Lord said that it was not good for Adam to be alone, which is noteworthy because Adam had God at that time, indicating that God made Adam to also need family.

As the Lord indicated, some are created not to need this, but they are very rare. Basic to the highest levels of leadership is also a need to stay in touch with the practical, and nothing does this like families. Having the adoration of the greatest crowds cannot inspire and fuel our souls like a family can. A special anointing is on Governor Palin to display this crucial truth. I have known many very successful people, and without question, without exception, those who lost their families would have given up all of their achievements to get their family back. One of the most important things that makes us a higher form of life is having a higher form of family.

Of all the issues that are being discussed in this campaign, family is the most important. That is why the only commandment with a promise was to honor our fathers and mothers. The promise was that it would go well with us and that we would dwell long in the land that the Lord has given to us (see Deuteronomy 5:16). The favor of God that comes from this is more important than all of the other issues.

Confusion and Deception Broken

The level of confusion and deception I have seen over America in the last two years both in the Church and without has been unlike anything I have ever witnessed. The level of it, especially in the Body of Christ, has truly been shocking to me. The list of areas in which it has manifested is broad: presidential candidate endorsements and prophecies, doctrinal error, relational breakups, disagreements over what is true and false revival, etc.

Add to this list a general weariness, complacency (one well-known leader told me he doesn’t think it matters anymore who is elected president – so much for shifting the Supreme Court!), disillusionment, disorientation, etc. – and it all adds up to incredible confusion and deception. the principality – the spirit of Babylon – has been another story altogether.

The November Elections

To say it has been troubling to listen to prominent Christian leaders endorse certain candidates and or prophesy that it is God’s will for those candidates to be president would be an understatement. Make no mistake about it, the turning of the Supreme Court and reversing the flow of death and anti-God laws that have flowed out of it is still God’s number one governmental agenda for America.

To elect a pro-abortion candidate that would appoint pro-abortion judges would be disastrous and could set us back 50 years. It doesn’t matter who prophesies or states otherwise – don’t be deceived by this. It is NOT God’s will for us to have a liberal, pro-abortion president!

Now I tell you a mystery again, there is a change, in the atmosphere, in the political arena. For God said the enemy has chosen his one and I have chosen. This is not a day where men can vote, this is a day when God instates men into the Oval Office. There shall be a Vice President that shall be second to none, that shall take over the land. God says hear the mystery of God, you shall not be afraid, you shall not say Democrat, Republican, Independent or what else.

And of course Bob Jones. Blessings!!!

“New Apostolic Government in Place by 2012″

A New Apostolic Government by 2012

We will see an entirely new apostolic government in place by 2012. At this time, we will see the Church being put together and growing into a habitation for the Spirit of God: “…in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit” (Ephesians 2:21-22).

The Coming Election and the Angel Named Union

Right now it is extremely important to pray for the coming election. The winds of change are blowing. We must pray for this Godly Vice President. September is the month that will make the difference – this is the month it begins. Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, starts the night of September 29th.

Right now God is harvesting harvesters for the great harvest. By 2012 we will see a genuine apostolic government in place. From there we will see others come alongside and do what they are called to do.

We are in the middle of one of the greatest changes in history. These next eight years will be full of joy if the Church steps into authority and God’s righteous people are elected. It’s time to begin to bless instead of curse. The mind of Christ will be released to true followers with a fresh vision, new anointing, and plenty of provision.

We are going to see Roe vs. Wade overturned. It’s time to bless the United States and not curse her. Bob Jones heard Kate Smith singing God Bless America. This is the United States of America. We are united by diversity, and the angel over this nation is named “Union” – we are united by diversity and strengthened by union.

Bob and Bonnie Jones:

The Lord says, “The White House shall become the prayer house. The White House shall be called the prayer house. And then they will mock and say, ‘it is the White House,’ and then they will mock and say, ‘it is the wild house because the Quakers have come.’ And they will say, ‘there is even shaking there and trembling.’”

God said, “This is going to be as a result, and even though many men have hated this President – of his own battle with a Babylonian prince with a Babylonian spirit – that has endeavored to take this Nation and bring it to its knees. Because of President Bush,” God said, “who prayed every day, I am going to produce in the White House, Spirit-filled human beings that will pray with the Spirit and power. And they will not be ashamed of it.”

And God said, “This resurrection that is coming to My people will bring about a multiplication of great outpourings in every state in this Nation. For I will place in the White House, one that will call just by one word of prayer, and I shall come running. And it shall be said, ‘can a woman bring to this Nation the Spirit of God from a political house of power?’ Watch Me,” says the Lord, “watch Me, says the Lord!”

QUOTE: “I believe Sarah would not live in a fragmented world. The idea that Sarah would take this huge influence of the worldview that really only the Bible and the relationship with Jesus opens up … and suddenly marginalize it and put it over on the shelf somewhere and live apart from it—that would be entirely inconsistent.” —former Wasilla Assembly of God pastor Tim McGraw, who lead the church Palin attended when elected as mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, on how Palin’s faith will influence her political duties if appointed as vice president

QUOTE: “I can do my job in developing our natural resources and doing things like getting the roads paved and making sure our troopers have their cop cars and their uniforms and their guns, and making sure our public schools are funded. But really, all of that stuff doesn’t do any good if the people of Alaska’s heart isn’t right with God.”

—Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, addressing Master’s Commission students in June at her home church, Wasilla Bible Church, in Wasilla, Alaska. The GOP vice presidential nominee’s overt faith and Pentecostal background have been hot topics this week in the media.
